What NativeEU is and who is behind it

A directory of software that complies with European and Latin American rules, ranked by votes. Here we explain what it is, how it is ranked and where we have a conflict of interest.

What it is and why it exists

NativeEU is a directory of software as a service (SaaS) for people who must choose tools that comply with the rules of their country: e-invoicing, data protection, data residency. It exists because comparing that by hand, listing by listing, takes days, and because most comparison sites rank by whoever pays most.

How the ranking works

The order is decided by users’ votes, with or without an account, and it is not for sale. The details (one vote per person and product, decay over time, what "complies" means) are in the methodology page.

Declared conflict of interest

Some listings in the directory belong to the person who maintains it. We mark them as "house" listings and, in a tie on votes, they rank behind the others. They cannot buy position and do not skip review: they go through the same process as any other listing.

How to request a correction

If a detail is wrong or out of date, or if you are the maker and want to dispute a compliance line, use the corrections page.
